The OneDay BioTech US privacy statement recognizes the value of privacy of the university community members and its guests. 

This privacy notice provides more specific information on how the OneDay BioTech US text messaging service collects and processes your personal information.

We collect personal information in the following circumstances:

  • Direct Collection, when you provide information by responding to text messages.

  • From OneDay BioTech US sources, when we import your contact information from other  OneDay BioTech US  systems and sources, such as  Quickbooks.

  • Automated Processes, when the GrassHopper gathers information as you interact with the service.

What Type of Information We Collect

Direct Collection

We directly collect the following personal information:

  • Opt-out preferences

  • Content of your text message responses to us.

Collection from OneDay BioTech US Sources

We import personal information from  OneDay BioTech US systems and sources. The information includes:

  • First and last name

  • Phone number.

Automated Collection

We automatically collect the following personal information:

  • Device status indicating whether a device is available for messaging

  • Carrier (e.g. Verizon, AT&T, etc.)

  • Country associated with the phone (we are not sending international text messages)

  • Delivery status

  • Error codes indicating why a message was not delivered (e.g. number associated with a landline, unreachable device, etc.)

How This Information Is Used

We use the personal  information we collect to communicate with you regarding  OneDay BioTech US operations and services, such as:

  • Your Customer Service including, information on order status, tracking information, account balance.

  • Updates, to keep you informed of important dates or activities specific to your relationship with  OneDay BioTech US  .

  • Promotional Activities, to share opportunities that may be of interest to you, incentives, discounts, and offerings though a variety of  OneDay BioTech US   services.

With Whom This Information Is Shared

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may, however, share your personal information in limited circumstances, such as with company partners or external service providers that support business activities. Specifically, we share your information with Grasshopper, which provides the communications platform OneDay BioTech US uses for text messaging services.

We require our service providers to keep your personal information secure, and do not allow them to use or share your personal information for any purpose other than providing services on our behalf.  

We may also share your personal information when required by law, or when we believe sharing will help to protect the safety, property, or rights of the  OneDay BioTech US staff, community and guests.

What Choices You Can Make About Your Information

If you wish to unsubscribe from text messages for a campaign, you can reply with words, such as ‘cancel’, ‘end’, ‘quit’, ‘unsubscribe’, ‘stop’, or ‘stop all’ and you will no longer receive messages.

If you wish to re-subscribe, reply with words, such as ‘start’, ‘yes’, or ‘unstop’.

Please note that unsubscribing from text messages from one campaign will not unsubscribe you from other campaigns. Unsubscribing will not remove your information from source OneDay BioTech US systems. 

The accuracy of your contact information in  OneDay BioTech US is critical for the delivery of text messages. If you wish to update your contact information, please send an email to info@onedaybiotechus.com .

Opt-In for Promotional Messages

The customer provides their phone number on a form on a OneDay BioTech US business’ website for customer service or sales assistance (first opt-in).

  1. OneDay BioTech US sends customer a text message through Grasshopper that includes the instruction “Reply YES if you consent to receive text messages from OneDay BioTech US.”

  2. The customer replies “YES” (second opt-in) and we will begin communication with customer via SMS.

  3. OneDay BioTech US now has explicit-DOUBLE written consent to send the customer messages. Tracked (date and time stamped record of agreement, The google form data transfers to a google sheet and can be a reference point and where we update if customers OPT OUT at any point.
